Hello, The only medicine which has been added in your treatment is SITAGLIPTIN in form of GALVUSMET. You should not have any apprehension regarding the use of this drug as it is is newer drug belonging to GLIPTINS. All the medicines have some or other side effects and hence should not be worried about. SITAGLIPTIN is quite safe and you should not have any apprehension in using it. For you the most important point to remember is the meticulous control of your sugar levels. Observe proper dietary control and do regular aerobic exercises along with medicines. Have faith in your treating doctor and Kerp a regular date with him. Thanks
