What Are The Possible Treatments For Enteric Fever And Jaundice?
HI.M ATEEK AHMAD AND MY WIFE IS SUFERRIG FROM FEVER BODYACHE,HEADACHE,HIGH GRADE FEVER NAUSEA VOMITTING,YELOW URINE.THEN MY WIFE IS ADMITED IN THE HOSPITAL.AND SOME TEST DONE THEN DIAGNOSED A CASE OF ENTERIC FEVER AND JAUNDICE.TOTAL BILLRUBIN IS 4.76,SGOT240.00SGPT 180.00 AND WIDAL IS POSITIVE .then my wife is cure.after 5 days treatment my wife is cure .after treatment why need of virarel marker yes or no.

Since she had a high grade fever and jaundice along with the positive widal, the doctor wants to rule out causes of jaundice.
It may happen due to breaking of blood cells as occurs in fever, reaction to drugs or infection like hepatitis caused by viruses. So tests for viral markers are a part of the complete evaluation.
Kindly get them done so that she will get proper medicines according to the results.
