What Are The Possible Treatments For Osteoarthritis ?
My doctor has prescribed methotrexate 2.5 mg tabs, 4 per week for osteoarthritis. I am also taking 200 mg of celebrex daily. She also prescribed 1 mg of folic acid daily when starting the methotrexate.I am also taking 20 mg of atorvastatin daily and 25 mg daily of hydrochlorotizide. Are there any bad reactions to combining these drugs?
Hi You might be having rheumatoid arthritis so methotraxate is given and it causes vitb12 defeciency anemia so fo folic acid is given. The above drugs you are taking in combination will not cause much serious adverse effects but each of the drug has its own adverse effect and it has to be monitored properly by your doctor so plz visit your doctor every month or a two to adjust the dose. Get well soon. Thank you.
