What Are The Possible Treatments For Sarcoidosis?

This is a complex situation. My mom has sarcoidosis, and recently they decided T cell lymphoma therefore chemotherapy. She has been getting blood transfusions due to her not being able to keep red blood cells. After the last transfusion, she developed a fever. There was a situation last summer where they thought she had a spider bite issue, now the doctors say MERSA. Meanwhile she's back in the hospital with a fever since the last transfusion, two weeks since all this started, and now, swelling in her legs and arms. So whats going on?

hi I did review your concern.
Sarcoidiosis is an autoimmune condition in which there is problem in lungs and liver and other major organ systems in body. It can also be accompanied by T cell lymphoma in infrequent cases or it can mimick T cell lymphomas.
Since she is having anemia I would recommend a bone marrow study and find out a cause for it so that it can be treated and does not need transfusions everytime
Swelling in arms and legs can be due to lymphatic obstruction or kidney or liver problems.
It can be diagnosed by kidney function test like Creatinine, blood urea nitrogen and urine analysis.
I hope this helps
Wish you all the best
