Daughter was told has pneumonia. She is on two antibiotics. She is supposed to go back tomorrow morning since she is having so much pain in chest. Tonight she is vomiting and her neck hurts. Should we consider a trip to ER or wait till morning. We are not sure what to look for. She can move her neck around. She has a lot of nausea. Very pale. Can t eat or drink without throwing up at this point.
U should go to ER. As unmeasured water loss from body is also increased during pneumonia & vomiting & inability to eat/drink can also lead to dehydration. &uncontrolled nausea/ vomiting also needs evaluation. Go to ER , get her oxygen level & few lab reports & blood pressure measured. & get the required treatment. According to lab reports & according to hospital admission criteria( CURB 65 &others) doctor will decide about hospital admission.
