What Are The Precaution And Remedy For Pain In Buttock ?

i sit a lot at work, working on computer all day. I am not overweight, actually in very good health. I have noticed the last couple of months that my right buttock hurts and so i moved my chair around so that i wouldn t have pressure there, but it still hurts. This feels like a burning deep down inside. There is no skin tear and no redness as i can see (I am African American so hard to tell) Could this be a PU developing underneath the skin that will break thru oneday? I sure hope not. What can i do besides stand and use my computer. I have changed chairs, use cushions, etc. it still hurts, really bad.

Hi,

I suggest you to get an x-ray done to rule out any bony problem.
If the pain is due to musculo-skeletal origin, you can have some analgesics like aceclofenac in the required dosage.

Hot fomentation would be helpful.

I would also advise you to get your blood sugar tested as in some cases, high blood sugar levels can give rise to burning pain.

You can also have a nerve supplement along with these.
Physiotherapy would also benefit you to a great extent.

If it still persists, consult with an orthopedician.
Take care
