What Are The Reasons For Vaginal Bleeding After Bowel Movements, Lower Back Pain, Constipation And Hemorrhoids?
I am 43. I have been experiencing vaginal bleeding after bowel movements, 1 week prior to my period. I am also experiencing lower back pain, constipation, and I do have some hemorrhoids. I feel tired and I am very scared, stressed out! This has been going on for at least 3 months.
Constipation is worsening hemorrhoids. Bleeding is making you feeling tired. Getting scared and stressed out is making your feeling tired worst.
So, the very first thing is to ease constipation: -drink more water - have foods high in fiber - take fiber supplements containing psyllium - have senna tea and lactulose for easing the bowel movements - do not hold breathe when passing the motion - go to bathroom each time you feel to pass the motion, do not delay
With regards to the vaginal bleeding, I'd ask to check it out and verify if there is vaginal bleeding each time you have bowel movements apart periods.
You can do transvaginal ultrasound and vaginal swab testing to rule out genital problems. Please make sure that blood is coming from your vagina and not anus and report to your doctor.
Hope it helped! Dr.Bardha
