i have hundreds of red bumps on the top of my leg and they hurt. They bother me all the time, this has been about a week since they have appeared and now i can not sit down without the burning feeling to occur. do you know what this could be, is there a way i could cure it, and do you know what could ve caused this?
Red bumps on the top of the leg is commonly due to allergies, insect bites, bumps due to improper shaving, etc. You are suggested to take antihistamines at bed time for relief. You can apply ointment containing corticosteroids(hydrocortisone) on the area affected. Stay away from triggers like allergies, dry skin, infection, sweating, etc.
Take care of your hygiene. Always keep your skin moisturized. Exfoliate your skin after every 15 days. Apply hydrating lotions and stay well hydrated. Get clinically examined by a dermatologist so that you can get Phototherapy with conservative treatment if required.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
