What Are The Risks Of Being At Home While Having Contractions?
Hi, my daughter is 34 weeks pregnant and has had 2 C-sections already and she has been to the hospital 3 times already for contractions one time of which the contractions were 3 minutes apart. Each time they sent her home. She does not dialate. What are the risks of her being at home still having contractions?

She needs to dilate at least to a certain amount for the medical staff to be able to promote the rest. But I still think it would be wise to get her admitted at least 24 hours after the contractions have started as there should be no gurther delays in putting her under medical care. Speak to her caring doctor and request for an admission.
Risks with a drlay can involve asphixation, but this is only with a severe delay, and not a mild one.
