Hello,
Direct passing of the body fluid from one person's body to another person's body is required when one is infected with HIV. Since you two were fondling and there was no penetrative sex chances of contracting HIV is very low. Your risk of HIV transmission is low. However, get HIV antibody test done to verify HIV status and to stay on the safer side.
Though not HIV but other sexually transmitted infection can be contracted due to skin to skin contact like HPV,
genital herpes or syphilis. Practicing safe sex can protect you from STI. If you touch the anus of your partner and get feces in your fingers than you can contract infections like
hepatitis A,
hepatitis B, infection from parasites like giardia or from bacteria like shigella
salmonella, E.coli, etc.
Non penetrative sex has very low risk of contracting HIV but if there is oral sex between the partners of whom one is HIV infected, HIV infection can be contracted through the cuts, open sores, oral ulcers,
bleeding gums, etc.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
