What Are The Side Effects Of Activia?
Do you know if someone who is regular and drinks Vitamin D milk regularly could suffer adverse side effects by eating a product such as Activia? Person is age 87 and is having serious diarrhea. She had no irregularity prior to eating Activia once a day and now seems unable to control her bowel movements.

Diarrhea can be due to severaL significant disorders and is a reason to get lab and stool evaluation. Activia is an over the counter yogurt. As such it has some fermenting microorganisms in it that are not gong to cause serious infection. They , in theory, could crowd out more dangerous germs but in practice food is digested before the part in the digestive track taht has germs. To change the germs in this location is quite difficult if you are strting at the mough.
