What Are The Side Effects Of Amoxicillin 875 Mg?

I m taking amoxicilin 875 for a sinus infection since Friday eve and it s making me a bit dizzy. No other side effects. The last time I had antibiotics was years ago and I m not use to taking any prescription meds of any type so I assume I m very sensitive. I m a female 49 and about 123 lbs. Otherwise very healthy. Is this a normal reaction?

Thanks for contacting HCM

I am sorry to hear that you are having dizzy spells with taking Amoxicillin. This is a common side effect but not a severe issue. Taking the antibiotic along with other cold for sinus medications may make you feel dizzy or light headed. For treatment I usually recommend plenty of fluids and rest. These symptoms should abate quickly.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact HCM again with any of your health care concerns
