What Are The Side Effects Of Amoxicillin?
I am taking Hydrocodone 5mg and Amoxicillin 500mg for my infected gums. I received a positive drug screen and could not figure out how I became positive being that I am not a drug user and I was refused a job. A friend told me that it could be medicine that I am taking so a researched on the internet and saw that your study show that Amoxicillin may cause a positive results, its this true?

Your positive test result is due to taking Hydrocodone and not Amoxicillin.
I will explain why. Hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid synthesized from codeine, one of the opioid alkaloids found in the opium poppy. Opioids are considered as illicit drugs and Amoxicillin not , so they found you as a drug user. If hydrocodone was prescribed for you by a doctor, it can't be consider illegal anymore.
