What Are The Side Effects Of Avil?

My wife has a alergy and gets sneez, running nose, raised body temperature. This happens during seasonl changes like it is now. She is 68, and had been taking avil 25 once a day. This time she is complaining of uneasyness, heavy head, body imbalance ( control). Is it the side effect of avil. If so kindly advice alternative

These symptoms mentioned in the query may be due to allergic rhinitis and AVIL is most potent antihistamines and antiallergics ( pheniramine maleate ) , that's why your wife is responding very well .
Sedation , uneasiness , heaviness in head , imbalance all are side effects of avil.
One way is take this drug on alternate day and only in the night , so she will feel less side effects in day.
2nd option is levoceterizine as this produces less side effects and act in same way as avil.
3rd option is montelukast 10 mg in the evening and most of patient don't feel any side effects in the day.
