What Are The Side Effects Of Balsalazide?

I am taking three Balsalazide capsules a day, one at each meal. I have a lot of diarrhea and recently had a bad urinary infection. I am also very tired. All three of these things are side effects of the medication. I had been on Asacol for 17 years and had very little problems, but it was taken from the market. I am 88 years old and in excellent shape for my age except for the ulcerative colitis. Also, does fish oil have any reaction while on my medication. I take one 1000 mg capsule every other day. Hello,
Abdominal pain,vomiting,diarrhoea,tiredness,Headche etc are common side effects of using BALSALAZIDE.If your side effects are tolerable,then go ahead and soon it should be all tight.
If your side effects are causing intolerable problems then you consult your doctor and apprise of your side effects.
You can take fish oil as there is no interaction between these two.
