What Are The Side Effects Of Betacap Tr 60 Mg ?

Sir Mu husband is suffering from shivering and some time he will behave wildly. We have consulted a neurology doctor. He said us that he has to use betacap tr 60mg for thoroughout ios life. Sir please let me know abou the side affects and any other alternative fois their for tthis deisease

Your husband prescribed BETACAP tr 60 mg for throughout life .
You mentioned that you consulted a Neurologist and he advised this medicine for shivering and violent behavior ( wildly as mentioned ) .
But you din't mention the disease for which this medicine was advised .
This is PROPRANOLOL and used in both CARDIOVASCULAR diseases as well diseases for CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM as well as for anxiety.
Side effects are : lethragy/fatigue, rash, cold hands & feet, nausea, fainting, breathlessness , nightmares/vivid dreams, bronchospasm.
However, these are common side effects and usually patient adjust this medicine after a short period or treatment.
So please upload complete reports about the disease thereafter something can be advised.
