What Are The Side Effects Of CLR 72?

hi im priya,im 28 yrs old.my periods are regular and it falls on 04 of every month.I had intercourse on 27th and 28th of this month.to avoid pregnancy I have taken CLR 72 table.Can u tell me the side effects for this and in case I want to get pregnant nex month can I proceed?

Hi.

The emergency contraceptive pills like CLR-72 is up to 95% effective in preventing an unwanted pregnancy if taken within 72 hours following an unprotected sex. The sooner it is taken, its effectiveness increases.

The periods after emergency contraceptive mostly become a bit irregular for the first 1-2 cycles. So, you may get them early and the next cycle may be delayed or may get them on time or may have a delayed period.

If the periods are delayed then you must first rule out a pregnancy by a urine test 10 days after missed period. If it is negative just wait for the period for 3-4 weeks. They will come by themselves and no tablets must be taken to induce them.

This medication is not going to affect your fertility so you can become pregnant next month so you can proceed.
