Hello,
My wife is taking Clomid, and is experiencing the side effect of a swollen lower leg with flushing, and itchy skin. She has called her Dr, but had not been called back uet. Is this a dangerous situation, and what can she do in the meantime?

Your wife is taking clomid i.e. CLOMIFENE and developed swelling lower leg, flushing , itchy skin.
Now , please note down the side effects of clomid:
Ovarian enlargement , abdominal pain ,blurred vision, bloating HOT FLUSHES , breast discomfort, WEIGHT GAIN ( SWELLING OVER LEG), depression, ectopic or multiple pregnancy , RASH ( itchy skin)headache convulsions, fatigue.
Your wife having few side effects but need not to worry as these are common side effects .
This is an important drug for ANOVULATORY INFERTILITY so take is as advised your doctor . For these symptoms she can take montelukast+fexofenadine tablet.
If still no response consult your doctor and get his opinion.
