What Are The Side Effects Of Flexon Syrup On Consuming 16 Ml A Day?

Hi, my 6 months old baby is suffering with fever 100.5 F and weight is 8.6 kg.Local doctor pescribed Flexon syrup(Paracetamol & Ibuprofen suspension) 4ml for 4 times a day for 2 days.Can you please tell me is there any side effects to baby if she consumes 16ml a day.

short answer:In my opinion paracetamol with iburufen suspension must be only given as required (sos)
detailed answer: for 6 months old baby i usually recommend giving tripid sponging with cold water for bringing the temprerature comming down rather giving 4ml paracetamol 4 ml four times a day. if the temperature is not brought down there are possibilities of baby going for febrile seizures. so bringing down the temperature is first important. but it can be managed first with tripid sponging and syrup can be given as needed. hope this explains
