Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am taking HCG drops for weight loss. Have done it before with no side effects other than sometimes when I am eating the roof of my mouth becomes so painful that I often have to stop eating or go really slow because the quicker I eat the worse it gets.
Hello, This is Dr. Klarida Papaqako answering your question.
Side effects of the use of HCG, come more from the diet it has to be accompanied with, then the use of HCG itself, since HCG is a hormone, naturally produced in the body of humans under certain conditions (pregnancy). Most common problems you will notice is headache (because body requires more calories to keep moving), constipation (because eating less you will excrete less), dizziness, leg cramps (because of the low potassium levels), rash (because of the low level of proteins so necessary to keep the skin healthy and regenerating), ect.
I would recommend to keep in mind to take vitamins and supplements, and drink plenty of fluids all the time.
Take care.
