Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. You are on Lyrica or Pregabalin for nerve damage. The drug is one of important drug for neuropathic pain conditions and it also helps in relaxation. The drug doses should be reduced gradually over about 4 weeks to prevent any withdrawal effects. The drug causes side effects like sedation, dizziness, nausea, drowsiness etc minor side effects and overall it is safe drug to use. You can reduce the doses by about 20% every week and then can stop completely at about 4 weeks. Please consult your doctor before making any change in prescription.
Thanks, Hope this helps you. Take care
