Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello Dr, I am a 42 year old woman currently taking 0.375 mg minivelle patch every 3.5 days for hot flashes, mood swings and other peri menopausal symptoms. I am also taking 100mg progestin every day to try to stabilize low mood problems and this is increased to 200mg for 10 days out of the month to trigger menstruation. I usually take 2 caps of krill oil daily and about once a week take a high dose women s vitamin/mineral. Every now and then I have episodes of palpitations which usually last a few hours and make me feel uncomfortable. I am wondering what is causing them and guessing that it could be one or a combination of the things I am taking.....any advice would be much appreciated, thank you
