In my past I was always put on Trinessa after not taking that for a few months and switching doctors I was put on mononessa and I took mononessa for a month and half and decided to put a complete stop to it and my reason for being that I would bleed and spot not one day was I completely free of bleeding and I was sick of having to wear pads and not be able to do the things I wanted. Well so ok I stopped taking my pills and two days after I was still spotting but had protected sex with my bf but after he finished he noticed his condom had broke. Is it possible for me to get pregnant after not being on the pill for two days and while spotting?
Hello. It is very unlikely to get pregnant if you have spotting at that time. Side effects of Mononessa:
Nausea, vomiting, headache, bloating, breast tenderness, swelling of the ankles/feet (fluid retention), or weight change may occur. Vaginal bleeding between periods (spotting) or missed/irregular periods may occur, especially during the first few months of use. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. If you miss 2 periods in a row (or 1 period if the pill has not been used properly), contact your doctor for a pregnancy test.
