What Are The Side Effects Of Naproxen?

I went to the ER today for my foot. They gave me 2 shots but only said they were steroids. They gave me 2 scripts to fill, prednisone and naproxen. I took a naproxen (250 mg) when I got home. I have had a cold sweat since. Should I go back to the ER? I m scared I may have overdosed on naproxen by taking one when I got home since they didn t tell me what shots they gave me and it s not in the hospital papers. I only took 1 pill.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is not likely that they gave you naproxen via an injection so you are not likely to have overdosed on this medication.
The injections were likely the steroids as they told you. Naproxen is not a steroid, it is an NSAID.

You can consider monitoring your symptoms for now. If there is any worsening then you should consider visiting a doctor.

I hope this helps
