Omnacortil syrup contains prednisolone that belongs to the group of medications known as steroids or corticosteroids is used in the treatment of various inflammatory conditions like arthritis, osteoarthritis, asthma, allergies, SLE, renal disorders, hormonal disorders, certain cancers and many more. It is a safe and effective medication for children if it taken in the dose and duration as directed by the prescribing doctor.
It may cause nausea, vomiting, headache, sweating, easily bruising or bleeding, impaired wound healing, changes in appetite, fast heartbeat, weight gain, restlessness, nervousness, changes in sleep patterns, stomach pain, weakness, fatigue, rashes and many more. If you notice any side effect when taking this medication, then you should consult your baby's doctor first for medical help.
