What Are The Side Effects Of Otocomb Otic Ear Drops?
i have used Otocomb Otic ear drops in my right ear for an ear intection, and since using it my ear has been blocked for about the past 3 hours. I cant seem to unblock it, and i cant really hear anything, which is very bad for my job as i am an audio engineer. Is this normal? What cam i do to unblock my ear?
Hi Thanks for posting your query on HCM. I can understand your concern for the impaired hearing.
Otocomb Otic ear drops used to treat the ear infections are generally safe, however this medication can cause itching or redness in areas where you apply, ringing in the ears, hearing difficulty, damage to the ear drums & slow wound healing.
The blocking sensation noticed in your ear is because of the swelling of the was after absorbing the ear drops. This is absolutely normal. An impacted wax needs removal, do not try anything at home , particularly self probing or cleaning and stop blowing the nose as it may cause more harm. It has to be drained or removed by your treating ENT surgeon for an early recovery from the hearing impairment.
Hope this answers your query.
