Hello there,
I can understand your concern. Let me assure you that polycystic ovaries is a very common disorder affecting ovulation (release of egg) in many young women. It is not a major problem and can be easily tackled. The medicines that have been prescribed to you are all antioxidants and multi vitamins. Mogest is progesterone. I would have liked to know if you are planning to conceive as the treatment for polycystic ovaries depends on whether you are planning for pregnancy or not. If you are planning to conceive then Mogest in the 2 half of cycle will help you to retain the pregnancy. All multivitamins and antioxidants do not have any side effects. External hormones like progesterone will have some side effects like breast tenderness, headaches etc but nothing very serious.
Try to include exercise as a part of your routine and eat more vegetables and fruits than carbohydrates like rice or wheat. Increase salads in your diet. Weight loss, if you are overweight is known to help many women to regularise the cycles and even conceive.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
