What Are The Side Effects Of Placentrex Injection?

Hi Doctor/Madam, I having a vitiligo last one and half year and i have take all type of treatment but not getting result much more.finally somebody advice me to take placentrex injection. May I know if there any side effect of Placentrex 2ml injection ? Doctor told me to take 20 injections in gap of one day for treatment of vitiligo. I have completed 16 Placentrex injection. still the response of this injection not known ? Should I continue this ? Please suggest me. Thanking you in anticipation. Yours sincerely,

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

This injection is totally banned in the Inited States but in India still some doctors are prescribing for many purposes as in your case for vitiligo.

There is no any scientific proof that it produces any good result for vitiligo. Since you have already got 16 injections, so get the rest 4 also.

But this is also an important thing that except pain at the site of injection, there is no any side effects. So, for your satisfaction, you can take these injections.

I recommend you to consult a dermatologist and get his opinion regarding vitiligo.
