hi. I m missing my period two months now. I took a p2 on 24th August and have not seen my period since. I have taken 3 tests spaced 2 weeks apart and they all say negative. Could the absent period be a side effect of the P2? I also have a crampy feeling. However my breasts are not tender and have not grown. I have gained a little weight and i have back aches.
Side effects of Postinor-2 are : Nausea, vomiting, in some cases withdrawal bleeding may occur 2-3 after taking the tablet, in majority cases the next period starts as expected or sometimes earlier. if the period is delayed more than 7 days then pregnancy test is recommended. Other side effects include: Breast tenderness, headache, dizziness and fatigue. since you have missed your period for 2 months, I would advise you to consult a Gynaecologist.
