My daughter is having an allergic reaction to Cephalosporins. We have been to the Emergency room yesterday and was prescribed prednisone. Her rash comes and goes in different areas of her body. It is starting to look purple on her legs. What could this mean?
Prednisolone is the right drug for allergic reaction to cephalosporins. Appearance and disappearance of the rash is the feature of some kind of rashes. You dont have to worry as it will take sometime for prednisolone to supress the reaction completely.
