Primolut N is a hormonal preparation & it is given to you for correction of hormonal imbalance that results in your menstruation problem.You would need it for short course (usually of 3 months ) & in short time this preparation dose not cause notable side effects. Only thing is that it needs to be taken as prescribed, regularly (without a break)at same time of a day. Ferroguard is an iron preparation. Meant for rising hemoglobin percent for better general health. No major side effects except for constipation (in few patients- alleviated by corrected life style ) & probably staining of teeth/ oral cavity (needs gargling/ cleaning teeth so as to prevent medicine - if syrup form -to linger in mouth).
