What Are The Side Effects Of Progynova Tablets?
hello doctor,i am 28 year old and now 15 weeks pregnent.I was suffering pcod.during my 2nd month of pregnency doctor gives me progynova 1mg twice daily.i had taken it for 2 months.i heard that progynova is contraindicated in pregnency,is this drug produce any complication to my baby.please answer

Progynova tablet i.e. estradiol is an estrogen hormone tablet . It is CONTRAINDICATED in followings:
Hypersensitivity, undiagnosed vaginal bleeding,thrombophlebitis , estogen dependent tumor porphyria PREGNANCY .
Since this is an estrogen hormone and contraindicated in pregnant woman . If your baby is male in uterus , this is not good and may produces untoward effects .
