Can four weeks after quitting that drug cause moderate change to my overal health... Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Side effects of ranitidine are headache, drowsiness, dizziness, sleep problems (insomnia), decreased sex drive, impotence, or difficulty having an orgasm, swollen or tender breasts (in men).
You have multiple illness with SLE. So ranitidine is generally used along with other pain killer to avoid gastric side effects. Ranitidine is generally safe. So make sure about your side effects.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
