What Are The Side Effects Of Rythmol?

kellsure..i have been on propafenone for afib for 3 years with good results, however for the last 2 years or so i have been dealing with chronic pain and i am just looking for a homeopathic treatment for what i believe i have..ANA...my doctor knows about it but he just tells me to continue to take hydrocodon or OTC stuff..i have read that 25 to 30% of rythmol users complain of chronic arthritis like me..is there something i can try for the problem..if i go in im going to be under assault with tests and i dont want to deal with that at all

Thanks for your concern as regards chronic arthritis, which you feel, is due to Propafenone.

While not established, Rythmol may provoke arthritis in people. However, I would like you to see a cardiologist as regards other medications for atrial fibrillation, because most of the medications are mere palliatives i.e. they lessen the symptoms and do not cure the arthritis.

Thus, when a cardiologist (a heart specialist) prescribes another medication other than Propafenone, and weighs the risks and benefits, you can get what you want.
