I just received steroid injections for brachioradial pruritus (Wednesday). The injections were supposed to stop my arms from itching so badly but right now the itching is out of control. I have heard that sometimes an initial reaction to the injections is that the problem is intensified. But when will it stop? So miserable . . . my email address is : YYYY@YYYY
You may need a course of systemic steroids to help reduce your inflammatory response.
This may need to be combined with oral antihistamines for maximum effect. The itching should not be intensifying, you may need to see your doctor for a review.
I hope this helps
