What Are The Side Effects Of Synthroid?

I am looking online for side effects of Synthroid. Have a friend who just started on it 2 or so weeks ago and having swelling in her feet. Shes also had her 11 year old grandson for a week which could be the reason. I do not find this side effect online. Thanks for your educated opinion.
