Endocrinologist 's  Response
Hello,
Good day.
Thyronorm contains thyroxine. This is a safe drug. Side effects happen only of she takes excess dose. Excess dose can cause palpitations, weight loss, bone loss etc. But if her TSH is normal, please don't worry. As she is 10 years old, it is extremely important to continue thyronorm. It is essential for her growth. There is no alternative cure in modern medicine. You may consult homeo/ayurvedic doctors for that. However, I must reassure you that this is an essential drug and is very safe
