side effects of amtas-ht 5mg... i am 52 yrs old and have bp and i take this tablet regularly every morning... i am taking this tablet for the past 8 mnths... since then i am suffering from severe skin allergy.. my hand started itching and later all parts of my body started itching... my doctor told that the tablet is not the reason.. I am afraid to stop that tablet as people say if i stop that tablet blood may come form the nose... so please help me in this
Its common side effects include swelling around the ankle, constipation, flushing, headache, palpitations, high blood glucose levels, high uric acid levels, high serum lipids and low potassium levels.

Hi, Amtas HT Tablet is a combination of calcium channel blocker amlodipin and a diuretic ( water pill ) called hydrochlorothiazide commonly prescribed to used treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Its common side effects include swelling around the ankle, constipation, flushing, headache, palpitations, high blood glucose levels, high uric acid levels, high serum lipids and low potassium levels.
