What Are The Side Effects Of Ciplactin And Dexona?
hi i am using ciplactin and dexona tabs since last 2 years alternatively for every three months. i am facing now mental depression problem. is it caused due to the prolong take of these tablets. and i am getting periods three times in a month. so could you please give me any suggestions for this. my age is 24 female.
Ciplactin can cause increased appetite and weight gain. Long term use can cause liver dysfunction. Hence, chronic use of the drug should be avoided. Long term use of Dexona can cause diabetes, hypertension. It does not have any major effect on menstrual cycle. I would suggest you to take pelvic scan and thyroid test to rule out hormonal imbalance.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
