hi i have been consuming cyclopam tablets minimum 5 everyday for almost 4 years once during periods it was suggested by an doctor and after that i got addicted anyhow now being mature i have left consuming these tablet but want to know does it going to effect anyways to me in future like in pregnancy n all
Hi, Appreciate the initiative you have taken to come off it. Generally Dicyclomine; the potent antispasmodic in the tablet, is not addictive but however it shouldn't be consumed very frequently. And since you have stopped having it, it's good. There have been no studies showing that long term treatment with Dicyclomine has any effect on pregnancy though however, when you are pregnant it is advisable to stay away from Dicyclomine. Some of the few side effects of cyclopam which are most commonly seen are dizziness, blurred vision, dry mouth and nausea. In rare circumstances it can cause abdominal distension and pain. Before starting a new medication kindly consult your physician and follow his advice.
