If you have an ongoing pregnancy after using Misoprostol, the risk of having a baby with fetal malformations is increased. However, this risk is small, less than 10 in 1000.
Ultrasound scan, sometimes called the mid-pregnancy or anomaly scan, is usually carried out when you're between 18 and 21 weeks pregnant. This scan can be done for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
