What Are The Side Effects Of Depopred 2ml Injection?

my mother has been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for last 5 years.now her age is 41.she takes lefno 10 for 5 years according to the doctor s prescription.what are the side effects of using this drug for such a long days?she also takes depopred 2ml injection in a regular interval of 2 weeks to get releif from pain.what are the side effeects of this injection?

Most common side effects of Depropred (Methylprednisolone) 2ml injection are:headache, mild muscle pain or weakness and or stomach discomfort, bloating.

Long term use of this drug can lead to symptoms such as thinning skin, easy bruising, changes in the shape or location of body fat (especially in face, neck, back, and waist), increased acne or facial hair, menstrual problems, impotence, or loss of interest in sex.

This drug should NOT be stopped suddenly, because may cause central adrenal insufficiency due to long-term steroid effect.
