What Are The Side Effects Of Diamicron Mr ?
I am 49 yrs, diabetic since 2 yrs, on medication - Diamicron MR 30 1 daily. RBS in the range 115 -124. Have regular excercise for 20 min on treadmill / 30-40 min walking. Is this medication is okay for me or should I consult the doctor. Also is there any side effects for Diamicron Mr

YOUR diabetes status seems to be good. You can continue to use those medicines. DIiamicron MR is gliclazide which is a safe drug even in old age. The side effects are hypoglycaemia and weight gain. It is better to be under a doctor's follow up as diabetes care involves much more than just sugar control.
