What Are The Side Effects Of Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

Hello I got my period 6 days late and it s always light. I have had cysts before so I am just thinking it had to do with it cause I am very serious about taking my birth control at the same time every day. But a its been a week since I started my new cycle of pills and I m bleeding again. It s on and off and I get cramps too. It s been happening for the past 4 days? Could it just be another ruptured cyst?

Either that or you could be experiencing hormonal imbalances either purely due to the birth control pills you take or possibly due to peri-menopause (but that completely depends on your age, which I am unaware of). Please consult a gynaecologist for further and a more elaborate evaluation.
