What Are The Side Effects Of Fluocinolone 0.01?

I was prescribed fluocinolone 0.01 solution for small dry scabs on my scalp. What are the side effects? Frankly, I m afraid to take it after reading some information. I m 72. Is there something more natural I could use? Also my hair has been thinning rapidly, will this solution increase the hair loss?

Fluocinolone is prescribed for inflammatory & pruritic manifestations and otitis externa.
Its side effects are bruning , itching,irritation, dryness acneiform eruptions, hypopigmentations .
These side effects are not very common and occurs if you use it for very long time .
In short ,you can use it for short period without any side effects.
As you mentioned that your hairs are going thin ,so being as a steroid it may prevent hairs fall .
But in my opinion consult a dermatologist and get his treatment for hairs loss and thinning.
While it may help for dry scabs ( but in my opinion take 2nd opinion for scabs ).
