What Are The Side Effects Of Galvus? Is There An Alternate Medication?
My Hbac is 5.76. I have been prescribed Galvus 50/500 once in the morning before breakfast. Pl advise the effects and side effects. Earlier I was on Amryl 1 once in the morning and Gluformin 50/500 twice at day. Is the change to Galvus only a better prescription ? I am 66 of age and am on medication for High B/P and tenolol 25 for cardio problems. Mrs U Kohli

GALVUS IS A NEW TYPE OF DECREASING YOUR SUGAR.ITS STILL IN RESEACH FORM AS MORE AND MORE PROBLEMS WILL COME WITH THIS MEDICINE IN LONG TERM.AMRYL IS AN OLD ,TIME TESTED ANTIDIABETIC.AND IF U DRINK DPPP (GLAVUS) IS NOT THE RECOMMENDED ONE FOR YOU SINCE YOUR AGE IS 65+
