I just started a new pill and also started taking hydroxycut. I ve been kind of cruddy about taking my pills.. I ve missed a day or two and forget to take them at the right time. I have one more week until the bad week but I have already started. I have never had this happen before, is it cuz of the hydroxycut?
Generally considered to be safe if it does not contain ephedra. Hydroxycut is an over the counter dietary supplement claimed to be effective for weight loss however its efficacy and safety is not proved on any clinical studies. Its common side effects include lack of sleep, anxiety, nausea, increased heart beats, palpitations, and diarrhea. If it contains ephedra there is a risk of getting heart disease which may be fatal.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
