What Are The Side Effects Of Lonopin Injection?

i was advise to give lonopin 40 mg injection daily ,but after few days i start bleeding ,immeadiately doctor stopped lonopin injection and admitted me in hospital for care and there i was admitted for a week until my system become normal , lonopin injection was stopped ,i want to know side effects of lonopin injection on mother and baby as well

Lonopin (enoxaparin) is used to prevent formation of clots (anticoagulation). Enoxaparin is usually used in pregnancy in those who require anticoagulation.
It does not cross placenta and thus has minimal/nil effect on baby. Enoxaparin which is a low molecular weight heparin is the anticoagulant indicated in pregnancy.
It may cause some common side effects in mother like bleeding seen in your case, fever, elevation in liver enzymes, nausea. But all these are seen in less than 10% of patients taking it.
