What Are The Side Effects Of Losar Beta?

hello doctor my father is a B.P patient since last 10 years and recently doctor has prescribed him natrilix sr and losar beta i wanted to know about the possible side effcts if possible and about what precaution he should take regarding these medicine? thank you

Thanks for posting your query .

I will mention the side effects of the drugs mentioned . But remember one thing these side effects may happen or may not . So just because there are side effects mentioned for a drug doesn't mean it should not be used .

Natrilix -- Excess urination , Low BP , Raise in Blood sugars , Low blood sodium which may lead to excess fatigue , Drowsiness and even coma .

Losar beta-- Hypotension , High Potassium levels in blood which can be minor to life threatening, Decrease in heart rate ( minor to severe ), Kidney problem , Angioedema ( severe form of Allergic reaction ), Deterioration in wheezing

Precaution wise you need to test his Serum Creatinine and Serum Potassium once a month for next 3 months and if abnormal consult your doctor or revert back to me .
