my daughter is very tiny and has one grandson of mine she had the merana in for 4 years and thaught that getting it out would stop the pain and bleeding. it did not, she tells me that her husband is very large and during sex she still hurts....is it true that this is the case or is there something she can do to make it better like exersise?

Side effects of Mirena IUD is mostly irregular break thru bleeding becuase it has progestrone hormone in it. Apparently you have alredy got ir removed. you need to give more time and wait for normal periods cycle to return after the removal . It has no relationship with havig painful sexsince it has been removed already.
